The Palm Jumeirah’s world famous man-made archipelago, created by Nakheel, a company owned by the Dubai Government in UAE, using reclaimed land, was a hugely ambitious project when it was designed and developed by HHCP architects in 2001. Palm Jumeirah remains a hot topic of conversation and a sought after address for new homeowners and property investors.

Now, with The Palm fully formed and flourishing, Palm Jumeirah, the smallest of the three Palm islands, is home to high-end, designer properties, offering the very best in resort-style living. In fact, this ‘8th Wonder of the World’ can cater for 100,000 residents. The wide choice of property types available is as impressive as it is extensive, making this prime real estate in which to live, work and play. There really is something for everyone.

Palm Jumeirah comprises three main areas: The Trunk, The Crescent and The Fronds. The Fronds is divided into 16 clusters, each offering a range of stunning properties, from luxury beachfront villas, to elegant town houses and 5 star hotel-quality apartments.

On Palm Jumeirah you have the choice of homes over-looking spectacular beaches and the clear waters of the Persian Gulf, or with the privacy of a garden, or, indeed, both! Popular areas of The Trunk are Shoreline Apartments, Marina Residence, Tiara Residence, Oceana, Anchor Marina and The Golden Mile.

The Palm Fronds, sprouting from The Trunk, offer a tranquil haven, located far enough away from the hustle and bustle of city life, but with easy access to the monorail, which links all areas of Palm Jumeirah with the mainland. Here you’ll find sumptuous villas of all sizes with prices to match. From small garden villas to exquisite seven bedroom villas with high specification interiors.

The Crescent consists mainly of glamorous hotels, including the Seven Star Atlantis Hotel and many more offering exceptional facilities and service.

As well as the finest hotels and high specification homes, residents of The Trunk have access to excellent amenities and a growing list of world class restaurants and shopping. There are the large air-conned Malls - Dubai Pearl Mall, Dubai Marina Mall, the lbw Battuta Mall and Mall of Emirates, as well as boutique supermarkets, salons and spas.

Given the wide choice of properties, the easy access to centre of Dubai and the new business district near the Marina, ocean front locations, open spaces and amenities - beach clubs, sports facilities, schools, private hospitals, it’s easy to understand why expats, families with children and single professionals choose a home on the Palm Jumeirah to live the dream!

Education: Expatriates have a variety of different private schools to choose from. There are approximately 150 private schools; some offer a curriculum based on a particular country. The fees for private schooling range as widely as the types of schools available. Generally, a western model school will be more expensive than others.

Getting around: Located off Al Sufouh Road, near the entrance to Dubai Marina, the Palm Jumeirah is serviced by the Monorail suspended train line, the first of its’ kind in the Middle East and the best way to visit the island and enjoy the stunning views it has to offer. The Monorail runs along the trunk of the Palm Jumeirah connecting the Gateway Station at the entry to the Palm to the Atlantis hotel at the far end. Plans are underway to extend the monorail with a connection to the Red Line of the Dubai Metro.

Palm Jumeirah offers an incredible range of benefits to its’ residents and it’s not just the 24/7 sun, blue skies and sea breezes. Apartments and villas in Palm Jumeirah can be purchased on a freehold basis, so you have the right to sell, rent or lease your property. There is also the added bonus of not needing to pay taxes when buying a Palm Jumeirah property. What’s not to love about Palm Jumeirah!
