A day in the life of real estate: Real Estate Agent

This week, we’re celebrating International Women’s Day by taking you behind the scenes here at Allsopp & Allsopp, to introduce you to the incredible women on our team, who make the magic happen!

We know you might think we’re biassed, but trust us, when you work in one of the most exciting industries in the world, for one of the city's leading brokers - it’s impossible not to be this passionate!

Meet Lee Weston, also known to many as the Dubai ‘Super Agent’, our property expert in Downtown Dubai and Business Bay.

Rise and shine!

As no two days are ever the same in my life, I like to keep a few things consistent - like my morning coffee!

When my alarm goes off at 5:30am, it’s the first thing I’ll grab for before walking to the gym in my community. I’m definitely a morning person and love a sunrise stroll or doing a 5k run on the running track at La Mer.

I love listening to podcasts while on the move, my favourite at the moment is ‘Property Academy’ which is all about investing - I’m currently learning how to invest in the UK!

It’s then time to head to work and the first task on my list is always getting on top of any messages and emails that have come through overnight and from here I’ll schedule viewings or support with handover documents.

I spend a huge chunk of my day focused on property leads! So I like to get started on this as early as possible. I talk to multiple buyers and sellers everyday - which is one of my favourite parts of the role. I get to meet new people all the time and have the flexibility to work my schedule in a way that works the best.

Everyday looks different but for the most part, I’ll head out by 11am for a jam-packed schedule of viewings, meetings with sellers or buyers or property video shoots with our marketing team!

I really do love the hustle.

Once I’m done (which changes everyday!) I’ll grab a cuppa with my partner while we catch up and cook dinner. We’re working together on an e-commerce venture idea at the moment, so this is more or less all we talk about!

A single source of income is great, but as someone who aims to have a family soon and retire - I want to make sure I have multiple sources of income. After dinner, my time is dedicated to my second business, where I’ll do project research, business development and map out future plans.

After that I switch off, quite literally and by 10:30PM its lights out to get ready for another exciting day!
