Dubai named the ‘safest’ and ‘cleanest’ city in the world

If there’s one thing Dubai is known for, it’s breaking records!

Well for the third year in a row, our amazing city has once again been named not only the cleanest city in the world, but also the safest!

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, took to Twitter to share the news with his 11 million followers:

“Dubai is the safest city in the world, the cleanest in the world, and the most beautiful. God willing, let us keep it safe, stable and prosperous”

This amazing ranking was received through the Global Power City Index in their yearly assessment, which looks at a cities overall ability to attract individuals, investments, and businesses from all over the globe.

Six categories are considered:

1. Economy
2. Research and Development
3. Cultural Interaction
4. Livability
5. Environment
6. Accessibility
