Dubai’s newest wonder: Expo City announces new residential complex

If you’ve loved spending time at the wonderful Expo City, then get this, they have launched their first phase of Expo Valley and Expo Central residences which are part of the city’s 2040 master plan which drives towards sustainability.

Even better, the community will have smart, sustainable villas and townhouses that overlook a nature reserve, lake, and wadi creating an in-house eco-friendly atmosphere!

Dubai named the ‘safest’ and ‘cleanest’ city in the world

This should come as no surprise, Dubai has always triumphed every record and here’s yet another! For the third year in a row, our amazing city has once again been named not only the cleanest city in the world, but also the safest!

This amazing ranking was received through the Global Power City Index in their yearly assessment, which looks at a cities overall ability to attract individuals, investments, and businesses from all over the globe.

Ramadan 2023: What are the new working hours?

As we approach the Holy month of Ramadan, the city is in full swing preparing for the biggest observance in the Muslim calendar which is expected to begin on 21st March, 2023 - this is to be confirmed by the sighting of the crescent moon.

Throughout the holy month, working hours and schooling hours are reduced. The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announced the below:

For private sector workers, the hours have been reduced by two hours. Furthermore, for government and federal employees, working hours have been decreased to 9 AM - 2:30 PM from Mon-Thurs and 9 AM - 12:00 PM on Fridays.

For schools and educational institutions, there are two timing choices offered; Mon-Thurs: 7:45 AM - 12:45 PM OR Mon-Thurs: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Both choices must end at 11:45 AM on Fridays though, to accommodate the prayers.
