Dubai is the place to be in 2014, as building and investment projects add even more to facilities and amenities to an already impressive repertoire. Since 2009 the Dubai economy has gained strength and this has been the impetus for several ambitious developments that are planned for completion in 2015. The developments will bring affordable, sustainable housing to Dubai, and will give a welcome boost to the economy.

Two of the most talked about projects are the plans announced by Hard Rock International to build in Dubai, and the revival of a stalled plan to construct six developments in Dubai.

Dubai is a hub of industrial development at the moment and news that the City will also benefit from the reinstatement of plans to build six residential developments has excited residents and investors alike.

An ambitious plan set in motion by Q Developments was stopped in its tracks as a result of legal and financial difficulties in 2009. Renewed interest in the completion of the project has led to it being revived. The initial plans have now been dusted off and restarted with financial backing from Empire Arabia.

Two of the six planned developments will be located in Sports City, another two will be constructed in International City. The final two development projects are located in Business Bay and Jumeirah Village Triangle.
