Your Questions Answered

You will need a passport and if you are a resident of Dubai you will also need a visa and Emirates ID. If you are purchasing with a mortgage you may be asked to provide a copy of your pre-approval. If you are looking to purchase in a company name please speak with one of our agents who will be able to advise you further.

A 2% brokerage fee and a 4% transfer fee is to be paid to the Dubai Land Department. An AED 4000 transfer appointment fee will be paid by the buyer to the DLD trustee office along with an AED 580 administration fee.

If a buyer is paying with a mortgage they will have to pay 0.25% of the total loan amount plus an additional admin fee of AED 290. Buyers will also pay AED 6000 for sales progression.

Once you have this in mind you can begin the property search and can negotiate within your means for a property and sign the contract. After the contract is signed your bank will construct a survey to ensure the sale can progress.
