Profile On: Sales Progressor Angie Weeks

MOVING house brings with it a mix of emotions – there are personal challenges as well as wading through a minefield of ‘estate agency’ jargon and legal speak.

But with a wealth of property sector experience and numerous customer facing roles, our sales progressor, Coventry born and bred Angie Weeks is armed and ready to guide buyers and sellers through one of the most important journeys they will embark on.

Angie recognises that the process can sometimes be a complicated one, with the involvement of solicitors and other legal professionals, and says: “For some people, it is their first experience of moving house, which can understandably be quite daunting. For others, who may not have moved in a while, then some of the legal requirements may have changed.

“I recognise the challenges and the importance of having one person – in the buyer or seller’s case, myself – to deal with those curve balls which sometimes appear along the way.”

Working with movers from Allsopp & Allsopp’s Coventry and Leamington Spa branches, Angie can be looking after up to 80 buyers or sellers at any one time – giving individual and personal attention to each and every one.

Angie is the link between buyers/sellers and the legal professionals, with whom she has built up a strong relationship and mutual respect during her years of working in the Coventry estate agency market.

She added: “The buying and selling journey can be a long and challenging one at times, but a few bumps which need ironing out along the way. My role is a bit like oiling the wheels – it entails liaising with all parties working towards a smooth, quick and positive result, and I am not happy until I get the customer over the finishing line.”
