Mall of the Emirates is a 15-minute drive from JVC and is one of the largest malls in Dubai full of all the popular fashion outlets, jewelry, furniture shops, and a large Carrefour supermarket.

JVC does not have any licensed restaurants but nearby in Jumeirah Lake Towers, there is a vibrant nightlife scene with gorgeous restaurants, cocktail bars, and sports bars. It is a hive of activity on a weekend and a ladies night! Nola is a popular spot and offers incredible cocktails and Southern American food. They offer a daily happy hour on selected beverages from 5 pm – 8 pm and a thriving ladies night every Tuesday. From 12 pm – 6 pm coffee and beignets are on the house to all ladies and from 6 pm – 12 am ladies receive 4 free cocktails and 50% off the food bill!
McGettigan’s, also in JLT is a worldwide famous hub of all things sport with a very relaxed atmosphere to enjoy some British pub grub and a pint! Located in The Bonnington Hotel, they have a daily happy hour from 12 pm – 8 pm, a ladies night every Monday where ladies receive 4 free drinks and an exclusive food menu. For younger children, the Kids World Nursery in JVT offers daycare, nursery education, and an enrichment program. The nursery is run from 8 am – 11.30 am and is AED 2,150 for 5 days per week. The enrichment program runs from 12 pm – 2 pm and is AED 1,800 for 5 days a week. Day Care is available all day and is AED 300 per hour for 1-3 hours and AED 250 for 4 hours and above.
JVC is filled with play parks and open green parks where kids can play until their heart is content. The parks are always busy and new community friends can be made. There is always a very friendly and homely atmosphere across the neighbourhood making it a real hot spot for families.
