Spotted that twin tower with a bridge in the middle of the Trade Centre this morning? Yes, that’s One and Only One Za’abeel Residences and SIRO One Za’abeel. While Dubai has already been abundant in wellness spas, resorts and luxury hotels - you can never have too many, am I right?

SIRO One Za’abeel - Where wellness meets ultra-luxury

In case you didn’t know, SIRO was launched by the parent company of Atlantis, the Royal - Kerzner Group.

For a little backstory - In 2021, from popular demand for luxury and wellness hotels, Kerzner Group introduced SIRO, aiming to meet the increasing interest in wellness travel in Dubai. Initially, they planned to open a property in Montenegro in 2023, but it was delayed and eventually shelved. Now, Siro One Za'abeel in Dubai is the main spot for this new brand. And Kerzner’s CEO Philippe Zuber describes it as an "incubator concept" blending "science and innovation."

So, what’s all the hype about?

This 122-key hotel has specialised in turning bio-hacking into luxury, from personalised fitness programs, down to a custom crafted fitness schedule consisting of freshly cooked meal plans, to pre-planned off-site activities such as desert biking, mountain treks, football and golding sessions - guests can really come here to find their best selves.

To add to this sweat, the hotel will also include a Fitness Lab which comprises four fitness studios spanning across HIIT, pilates, boxing and specialised soccer coaching classes. This studio also hosts specialised classes that were created in partnership with sporting greats, such as Serie A soccer powerhouse AC Milan and Olympic boxer Ramla Ali.

And to unwind, rest and recover - Guests can really joy the epitome of R&R from the Recovery Lab, where you can find group yoga and meditation sessions, IV drip, cryotherapy, holistic healing therapies, or even opt for a sauna, steam or straight up unwind at their zen spa!

Overall, there are six recovery labs, and six fitness labs to really take your training and recovery to new levels. And if you’re looking for some extra privacy, you could even book their private gym or recover at the therapy bed and bathtub suite.

What’s more, you might ask?

Now that we’ve covered the fitness side of things, let us give you a deep dive into what more the hotel has that is definitely turning heads!

Like any traditional hotel, Kerzner’s SIRO will have restaurants, private chefs and minibars, but here’s the twist - each meal will be macro counted, made freshly and served as per your dietary restrictions at the restaurants, while your private chef is always on hand to help you cook and work alongside you as a nutritionist to guide in eating the right foods, and your minibar would be stocked daily with ginger shots, spirulina smoothies, kombucha, protein sachets, and fruits.

And here’s the real twist - you won’t be watching TV on a traditional flat screen no more, except a projector, in your room with programs to help guests unwind loaded with positive podcasts, and films. As the CEO believes removing these harmful emissions comes by removing TV’s, microwaves and kettles from rooms.
