As we close off the first half of 2024, Dubai’s property market has shown impressive growth across all residential sectors with no signs of slowing down.
Enjoy the last few months of lovely exercise friendly weather in Dubai with these outdoor exercise locations and activities!
Cycle at Al Qudra
Get your alarm clock set and your gym gear at the ready for a trip to the free-to-use Al Qudra cycle track. Al Qudra transports you from the city and makes you realise that you live in the desert. You may even spot some wildlife as you ride such as birds, camels and even oryx . The 85km track weaves its way along Al Qudra road and through the desert dunes. It is lined with resting stations and the route has a 50km loop, as well as an 18km stretch along Al Qudra Road. Both are popular with seasoned cyclists and novices alike and are regularly used by club bikers, too. If you want to keep fit while enjoying stunning views of the Dubai landscape, it is time to get on your bike and head down to Al Qudra.

Power Walk along the Palm Jumeirah Boardwalk
If you want to lap up some incredible Dubai views and listen to the waves crashing at the same time, you need to head to Palm Jumeirah’s Boardwalk. The 11km boardwalk stretches from One&Only The Palm on the western tip offering views of Dubai Marina, around to Rixos The Palm at the eastern end with views of the Burj Al Arab, Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai. There are no shady spots to escape the sun, so lap on the sun screen and take plenty of water. It is highly recommended that you come here at sunset to enjoy the sound of the sea with a beautiful backdrop.

Run along Kite Beach boardwalk
Kite Beach is one of Dubai’s most popular beaches and an all-round great place for an outdoor run. Make it more difficult and get on the sand! Either way, you will get a lovely sea breeze and meet fellow runners for motivation. You can even refuel afterwards at one of the many cafes nearby.

Hire a bike and glide around Dubai Marina
Get some outdoor exercise and hit the smooth, wide footpath that runs the perimeter of the waterway at the heart of Dubai Marina. For casual cyclists you can hire a Careem bike and the route is particularly unique, offering an easy, flat terrain that’s removed from motorists (just be careful of pedestrians).
