Dubai has been named "the most popular travel destination in the world” by the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards for the second year in a row! Beating the likes of London, Rome, and Paris to clinch the top spot.

Dubbed the “City of the Future”, Dubai is a world-renowned centre for research and development in emerging industries. With a wide array of attractions and amenities at hand, there’s no wondering why it’s endeared to the attention of celebrities and influencers alike.

Dubai sees a surge of AED 58.8 bn comprising of female investors!

The future is female! And in this case, Dubai’s real estate market saw a boom of AED 58.8 billion in 2022, all consisting of female investors. Comprising of a total of 26,698 investors, 33,419 real estate investments were registered in 2022.

Dubai Land Department’s data revealed that an increase of 50.8% female lead investments was seen in comparison to 2021 and women accounted for 34.8 percent of registered real estate brokers.

UAE officials make their way to the World Economic Forum in Davos, 2023

The World Economic Forum Annual Meeting began on Monday evening in Davos. The annual conference began with an awards ceremony that featured several officials from the Middle East and North Africa, including the UAE!

The Davos agenda includes:

The first alliance to accelerate digital inclusion - Which consists of providing 37% of the world is still deprived of internet access.

Boosting advanced sustainable Foreign Direct Investment - Investment flows can help advance a nation’s development goals by bringing capital, employment, export opportunities, and overall economic growth.

Driving a global effort against Alzheimer’s - Healthcare systems worldwide are not prepared to treat and care for people living with Alzheimer’s, much less the growing wave of patients to come.

Officials will also discuss issues such as geopolitics, opportunities in space, and climate action. Whilst also set to highlight a road map of the key priorities and efforts ahead of the Cop28 climate summit, held in the UAE at the end of November.
