Let’s look back at February…

Oh, and while we’re talking about all things property market, let’s catch up on last week, shall we?

In the last six days of March, Jumeirah Village Circle was once again the number one community for property sales transactions, coming in with 173 transactions totalling to a value of AED 126 million (sheesh!).

Dubai Foundation for Women and Children

The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children has opened a new multi-use villa for children without parental care. The villa can accommodate up to 14 children and will provide entertainment, educational and other essential services to support their development.

Feeling the sting of import charges?

At the moment, on all orders of AED 300 and more, you are required to pay an import fee.

Well, as always I come bearing good news. As of March 1, import fees are now only applicable on orders of over AED 1,000.

Not just all, import fees have also been reduced to just 5%!

We’ve been celeb spotting!

Dubai is a city favourite for celebs, and we often see some of the world's biggest stars come to enjoy everything our sandy city offers - and we don’t blame them!

Have you spotted any celebs recently?

Well we met with Hawkins Police Chief, David Harbour at Comic Con, danced with Calvin Harris at Ultra Music Festival, ran up the hill with Jamie Campbell Bower and sang summer tunes with Pia Mia this past week!

Just kidding - their bouncers wouldn’t let us near.

Keep your eyes peeled as tourist season is officially upon us so there will be plenty of a listers around town.
