As we close off the first half of 2024, Dubai’s property market has shown impressive growth across all residential sectors with no signs of slowing down.
Happy Monday!
How was your Eid break? I hope you’re feeling rested and ready for another week ahead!
Anywho, let’s get up to speed with the Dubai property market!
A record-breaking transaction has taken place this morning in Dubai’s real estate market as a plot on Jumeirah Bay Island has been sold for AED 125 million!
The 24,500 sq.ft plot was being sold for AED 5,100 per sq.ft making it the most expensive piece of land bought in the UAE after breaking the previous record of AED 91 million!
I mean, how crazy is that?
Next up…
Our trusty Dubai Metro has now transported 2 billion passengers!
That’s right, last week the RTA shared that the Dubai metro has officially hit the two billion mark since it was brought to the city fourteen years ago.
The metro also maintains incredible punctuality standards of 97.7 percent and was ranked as having some of the best safety and cleanliness standards in the world.
If you’re new to the city or are looking for your way around the metro, then take a look at our Dubai Metro map!
Lastly, in some sad news - The Bollywood Parks and Resorts have closed their doors!
The Bollywood theme park that attracted global fanfare from 2016 till 2023 announced the closure over the Eid weekend with the reason yet to be shared - but fear not as the iconic Raj Mahal will still be open for private events and the park is set to be refurbished to build new experiences and activities!
So, as much as we’ll miss the Bollywood themed escape - we can look forward to a lot of new experiences coming our way!
Anywho, that’s all from me - but stay tuned for a special surprise on Friday!
Until then - Have a great week!
