Motor City Among High Demand Areas in Dubai

Among the majority of communities that are in-demand in Dubai are the Motor City, The Greens, Sheikh Zayed Road, DIFC, Jumeirah and Arabian Ranches, a new report said.

Motor City and The Greens share the first place scoring 4.1 out of 5, while the Sheikh Zayed Road, DIFC, Jumeirah and Arabian Ranches have earned an average score of 4 out of 5 in the report published by MoveSouq.com, which is a quote comparison site for home services and FlatReviews.com, the first property review site in the UAE.

The report indicates that the highest demand areas in Dubai are based on moving activity and ratings by residents. The results are judged based on more than 2000 reviews by Dubai residents on FlatReviews.com and more than 1000 moving requests made on MoveSouq.com in the first quarter of the year.

The scores are based on categories like traffic, access to nearby amenities, and value for money. Motor City earned its high ranking as it was ranked among the top five in traffic, pet-friendliness, easy accessibility to schools, shops, restaurants, walking possibilities and value for money.

The city with the least score was Dubai International City with a score of just 2.8.

The high-demand areas based on moving activity are Dubai Marina, Dubailand, Business Bay, Jumeirah Village Circle, and Downtown Dubai, which constitute 31 percent of all moving in activity in the first three months of the year.

Dubai Marina has topped the list again this year, although it does not make it to the top rated communities in Dubai. This indicates that residents are happy to continue to live in communities like Dubai Marina and Downtown Dubai for the sake of lifestyle. But, the other far-flung communities like Jumeirah Village and Dubailand are continuing to witness the entry of more people this year, due to low rent prices.
