About The Lakes
If you’re looking for a city escape, a family community and peaceful surroundings then you are looking in the right location. The Lakes is a hugely popular townhouse and villa community which makes up part of the Emirates Living developments in Dubai. BBQ areas can be found throughout, fields with football goals are there to be enjoyed and Reform at The Lakes Club will provide the family with delicious food!
The Lakes is home to 600 villas over 6 areas; Maeen, Zulala, Ghadeer, Deema, Hattan, and Forat. Each district has its own security and entry and exit points. The community is landscaped meticulously to provide residents with a homely community surrounded by greenery and lakes.
Most of The Lakes communities offer an exceptional lake view. Walkways can be found around the perimeter of the lakes which make a great place to run with a view, stroll with the dog or just clear your head after a busy day at work. Hattan Villas offer either a lake or Emirates Golf Course View. Emirates Golf Course is one of Dubai’s highly sought-after courses for golf enthusiasts worldwide.

Within The Lakes community, residents can find villas with a range of between 3-6 bedrooms across the six sub-communities. Each villa offers either a study, maids room or a family room with some of the larger villas combining all of these.
There is a total of 11 Community pools and parks in the lakes. 2 pools and parks can be found in Maeen, Zulal, and Hattan. Ghadeer has 1 pool and park with Deema offering residents 4. Forat is situated within walking distance of The Lakes Club and therefore does not have a park or pool within the community. The community pools are well maintained and have a lifeguard on duty.
Out and About
In the way of schools, The Lakes is a mere 6-minute drive to the Dubai International Academy located in Emirates Hills. The school offers a rigorous curriculum and a rich language program for students. The school is a favourite for many families living in the Emirates Living area of Dubai and for those further afield. Fees start from AED 40,157 and can be paid by term if preferred. Dubai International School offers a 10% for the fourth child; 15% for fifth and 20% for the sixth child. For general enquiries, call: 043684111. For young children, Raffles Nursery is a hugely popular Pre-School Learning Alliance U.K accredited and is situated within The Lakes. Children from the ages of 1-4 years old are eligible to enroll. Fees start from AED 15,120 and can be paid per term. The Lakes Club is an Emirates Living hub for families and couples alike. All day to day necessities can be found in the different outlets within The Lakes Club. It offers residents a variety of memberships with use of the large outdoor adults swimming pool, children’s pool, gym, and tennis courts. Choithroms is located in The Lakes Club and will deliver delicious British produce to your door. You will also find a dry cleaner, nails spa and a large Fitness First Family Club.
The Lakes Club is mostly known for the Reform Social Bar and Grill which is a fully licensed restaurant open for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. The British themed restaurants serve all the favourites; fish and chips, steak pie, roast dinner and afternoon tea. The restaurant hosts a quiz night on a Thursday with Aylissa Boyce from Dubai 92’ 9 pm until late with the winning team receiving a month worth of free drinks. Afternoon Tea is served on Sundays – Thursdays 3 pm - 5 pm and booking are advised. On Tuesday evenings from 7 pm to 10 pm, Reform hosts The Big Bingo show offering participants a fun musical spin on the game.
For the dog lovers of the community, The Lakes club hosts Puppy Pilates which are held often on Saturdays and are free!!
As mentioned earlier, The Lakes is partially set looking over The Emirates Golf Course. Emirates Golf Course is home to the Dubai Desert Classic, a competition which brings all of the championship golfers to the club. Previous winners include the infamous Tiger Woods, Ernie Els, and Rory Mcilroy. The competition is played on one of the three courses at the club, The Majilis. The Faldo and the Par 3 Academy Course are also available to play at the club. Each course offers spectacular views of the Dubai Marina skyline and the course is floodlit for golfers to enjoy the game after dark – a rarity in the city.
