Dubai 30x30 Challenge: Fun ways to keep the family active!

The Dubai Fitness Challenge is here, and it's the perfect opportunity to get your family moving! We know that just before the holidays come, we all need to jump into shape so that during the holidays those calories don’t count!

The Dubai Fitness Challenge encourages everyone to commit to at least 30 minutes of daily exercise, and we've scoured the city to find the top five fun ways to keep the whole family active. Whether you're a nature lover, ice skater, or an adrenaline junkie, there's something to get everyone in the Dubai Fitness Challenge spirit.

So, let’s get cracking on our top five favourites…

1. Tree surfing at Aventura park

Reopened for the winter, the Aventura Park at Mushrif Park is a classic adventure zone that features over 80 thrilling challenges for all ages and has been a crowd favourite for many years. What sets it apart is its location amidst a Ghaf tree forest, offering activities both off the ground and between trees.

Feeling brave? Scale climbing walls and take a leap of faith from the 25m Tarzan jump while your little monkeys climb ropes and zip-line through the treetops. The park's activities are interconnected and grouped around varying heights, ensuring hours of fitness fun for children and adults alike.

2. Jump around at Bounce Dubai

For a workout, more like a fun day out with the whole family, book a playdate at Bounce Dubai. This indoor trampoline park features an X-Park obstacle course that combines parkour moves with CrossFit, providing an unconventional workout for kids and adults.

If that seems too intense, perfect signature air moves while bouncing around the free jumping space. It's remarkably effective – just 30 minutes on a trampoline can burn around 200 calories. Okay, sign us up already!

Regardless of the kids' ages, there's something for every age and ability at this Olympic-sized rink. If you find yourself in the dancing spirit, book your time for the special Disco Sessions where you can boogie on ice to everything from R&B, hip hop, dancehall, dubstep, Arabic, and world music. Children will love the 35,000 square-foot destination, which is home to a full-blown wipe out zone, warrior courses, a climbing wall, a dodgeball court, a trampoline park, warped walls, a zip-line, a foam pit, and a dedicated area for toddlers.
