UAE launches another 10-year Blue Residency visa!

The United Arab Emirates has unveiled a new 10-year Blue Residency visa, as a special initiative designed to reward residents who are actively making contributions to environmental protection, both marine and land, plus are involved in sustainable initiatives or activities!

The Blue Residency visa has been introduced to reflect the UAE's vision to foster environmental stewardship and the vital role that residents play in preserving natural ecosystems. Sheikh Mohammed, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, announced this new visa on social media, where he shared, "The year 2024 will be the year of sustainability. Today we approved the 'Blue Residency,' which is a long-term residency for a period of 10 years that will be granted to those who have demonstrated exceptional efforts in protecting our environment."
