Luxury hospitality brand Jumeirah has revealed plans for a new coastal development in Dubai, with the launch of Jumeirah Asora Bay. This project, which includes a boutique hotel and two residential offerings, forms a central part of the group’s Mission 2030 strategy, focused on expansion and diversification both in the region and abroad.
Located on La Mer South, Jumeirah Asora Bay is designed to be a refined retreat. The hotel will feature 103 elegant rooms and suites, complemented by 20 luxurious villas. It promises to deliver a curated guest experience rooted in intentional design, mindful living, and a deep connection to its coastal surroundings.
Jumeirah Asora Bay is scheduled to open in 2029 and will become a key property within the Jumeirah Hotels and Resorts portfolio standing alongside the upcoming Jumeirah Residences Emirates Towers, reflecting the brand’s continued commitment to innovation in design and lifestyle-focused hospitality.
As part of its Mission 2030 vision, Jumeirah is shifting focus to smaller, more intimate properties with up to 150 rooms. This approach places emphasis on spacious suites, private villas, and branded residences. It is a response to evolving guest expectations for exclusivity, personalised service, and a stronger sense of place.
Thomas B. Meier, Chief Executive Officer of Jumeirah, emphasised the importance of maintaining a strong presence in the UAE as the brand expands internationally. Following the successful launch of Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, the new Asora Bay project reinforces the company’s position as a market leader in luxury hospitality.
