Aysa’s Nursery

Redwood Montessori Nursery

Ever heard of the Montessori learning method?

Let us break it down - The Montessori learning method is all about an arts-rich curriculum with an emphasis on practical life, music, language, mathematics, sensorial exercises, sports and cultural enrichment. Raffles Nursery

Known for their famous learning program which focuses on creative and communicative learning to prepare young children for their higher education, this nursery has an early learning centre, and kindergarten for older children.

Raffles has a six classroom facility, with spacious indoor and outdoor play areas and physical development centre. Their schedules differ for older children attending classes five days a week, while toddlers have a flexible structure from 8am-4pm.

Schools in Palm Jumeirah

Dubai College

Dubai College is a secondary school located in Al Sufouh right outside Media City and has a government rating of Outstanding by KHDA. All the students follow a British Curriculum in the school with extensive programs and electives for creative, communicative and physical education.

Their fee structure starts at AED 86,000 annually with school timings from 8am-2pm - and extending till 4pm for extra curricular activities.

GEMS Wellington International School

This incredible school has been accredited as the second best school in Dubai according to TimeOut and has over 3000 students enrolled over all age groups from FS-1 to Year 13.

The school opened its doors in 2005 in Al Sufouh with a running government rating of Outstanding by KHDA and follows a British Curriculum and IB with an extensive physical education and elective program.

Their fee structure starts at AED 68,000 annually with school timings from 8am-3:20pm and on Fridays school concludes at 11:50am.

Regent International School

Known as one of Dubai’s oldest schools, Regent International sits in The Greens and operates from kindergarten to higher secondary school with over 1200 students enrolled. Their education program offers British Curriculum, GCSE and BTEC.

The school opened in 1981 with a government rating of Very Good by KHDA. They have a fee structure ranging from 45,000 to 56,000 and operate from 8am-4:30pm.

GEMS Dubai American Academy

DAA is a cult-favourite amongst families in Al Barsha as it sits on Hessa St, providing direct access to communities such as Barsha, Tecom, Al Sufouh and Palm Jumeirah.

The school has all-rounded electives for students, it currently occupies 900 students from 75 different countries being culturally diverse. Their education offers American Curriculum with IB curriculum for secondary students.

The school opened its doors in 1998, with a government rating of Outstanding by KHDA. They have a fee structure ranging from AED 82,500 onwards annually and operate from 7:45am-3pm.

American School of Dubai

Previously known as Jumeirah American School (JAS), ASD is a non-profit school following the American Curriculum and operates for all grades.

The school currently occupies 1,900 students with an occupancy of 2,000. All the students have access to multiple electives, and extracurricular activities. Their educational system also offers IB curriculum to the secondary school students and has an AP learning program for students searching for accelerated learning.

The school opened its doors in 1996, and sits right beside the Saudi German Hospital on Hessa St. They’ve received a government rating of Good by KHDA and their fee structure starts at AED 77,500.
