Calling all artists!

Art season has officially returned to Dubai, painting its way across multiple locations in the city this March.

Whether you’re a budding enthusiast or see yourself as a fully fledged Picasso, we’ve pulled together a list of our must-visit events and exhibitions that are definitely worth checking out!

Are you ready?

Art Dubai, Madinant Jumeirah

The 16th edition of Art Dubai, is back and taking place at the Madinat Jumeirah from March 1-5, with tickets starting at Dhs90.

What’s more, is that half of all ticket sales will go to charities that are supporting the victims of the Turkey-Syria earthquake that tragically took place last month.

Art Dubai features three sections: Contemporary, Modern, and Bawwaba, as well as a new section called Art Dubai Digital which showcases the best of digital art.

World Art Dubai, World Trade Centre

Not to be confused, World Art Dubai is a totally different event to World Art Dubai.

The eighth edition of this eagerly-awaited event is scheduled to run from March 9-12 and promises to bring together some of the most talented contemporary artists from across the globe! From live art performances and workshops, to street and graffiti artists showcasing their skills, there's something for everyone.

Plus, you won't want to miss the art fashion shows taking place at Artwalk, where you’ll be able to find stylish and affordable pieces that won’t break the bank!

Sikka Art Festival, Old Dubai

Explore the colorful alleyways of Old Dubai within this hidden art treasure that sits at Al Fahidi Souk.

The festival is now in its 11th edition and showcases a diverse range of up-and-coming talents from the UAE and wider region.

Head down and enjoy a variety of attractions such as art installations, live performances, film screenings, music, fashion, jewellery, local cuisine and more.

Prepare to lose yourself (quite literally) as you can explore the various streets of the open-air museum and its different houses.

The best part is that admission is totally free!

Al Serkal Art Week, Alserkal Avenue

If you're already a fan of the quirky Alserkal Avenue, then you’re not going to want to miss Art Week! This cultural extravaganza is open now and running until March 5th - so you’ll need to be quick.

You can expect an impressive array of art exhibitions, open studios, talks, gallery tours, and guest projects, running from 10am to 10pm everyday.

Art Nights at DIFC

In case you missed it on last weekend’s Katch up with Kash episode, DIFC Art Nights is back for its 15th year.

This two night art festival, hosted by Gate Avenue is one of the hottest in the art calendar, welcoming a crowd of over 4,000 attendees every year.

This year’s theme is ‘Art of change: Building a sustainable future’ and will feature over 100 eye-catching art pieces, sculptures and digital artworks.
