The Allsopp & Allsopp Dubai Property Market Report for Q3 2024 is now availableRead the report
As we close off the first half of 2024, Dubai’s property market has shown impressive growth across all residential sectors with no signs of slowing down.
Hope you’ve had a great weekend, so let’s get caught up on Dubai’s property market!
In the month of May, not only did the market see a whopping AED 34 billion in sales but also saw a 78% increase year on year compared to May 2022 - registering 11,700 property sales transactions.
Oh, and did you see that Buggati Residences unveiled their incredible Sky Mansions with the penthouses on the market for an eyewatering AED 750 million? Yup - its a record price!
We can’t believe it either…
After Dubai was crowned number one as the must-visit destination by TripAdvisor, Dubai Airports also welcomed a whopping 21.2 million through its terminals in the first quarter of 2023.
And Dubai’s tourism numbers went up 18% from last year - in the first four months of 2023 as we welcomed over 6.02 million visitors!
In the UAE, starting June 15th a mid-day work ban will be taking place for three months. For those who work outdoors or are exposed to extreme heat will be refrained from working between the hours of 12pm to 3pm daily, until September 15th.
This is in line to ensure employees are protected from the extreme heat, and companies who do not comply will have to bare a hefty fine of $1,360 per worker!
Eid-Al-Adha’s expected dates have been revealed and we could be in for a six-day holiday!
Eid is expected to fall on Arafat Day which is on June 27th with the Holiday of Sacrifice going from 28th to 30th, and if you factor in July 1-2’s weekend - we’re in for a long six-day break!
Exciting, isn’t it!
Anywho, that’s all from me but I’ll be back Friday!
Until then, have a great week!
