Coming around the new school year always means families are on the hunt for their perfect homes, and we’ve definitely been reviewing the top areas for renting across the city, and we’ve listed down the affordable ones too - just for those of us who are looking to save up, or are new to the city!
While most of these areas are affordable, they are extremely popular amongst residents too and have some impressive amenities and access to public transportation.
These are the top selections, based on affordability and desirability in the city.
Jumeirah Lake Towers
After its recent re-brand, this vibrant community has never looked better!
Jumeirah Lake Towers, also known as JLT, is built up of four lakes, surrounded by 26 alphabetical clusters with each cluster featuring three towers each. This community is home to some of the city’s most talked about cafes, gyms, hotels and even spas - there’s no wonder why this buzzing neighbourhood has become a hotspot for couples and young families.
Parallel to Dubai Marina and it’s strip of exciting restaurants and clubs, you’ll have direct access to Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road. And let’s not forget, it has two metro stations, multiple bus lines and taxi stands.

Al Furjan sits right by Discovery Gardens and is known for its metropolitan vibe, and affordability.

Remraam
If you are thinking of a beautifully landscaped community filled with greenery for you to enjoy the outdoors - Remraam is definitely the place for you.
Set in the heart of Dubailand, this community is ideal for families, offering spacious apartments ranging from three bedrooms with top-notch facilities.
Residents enjoy access to amenities such as retail outlets, shopping malls, leisure areas, a gymnasium, and a swimming pool. It is also conveniently located by Emirates Road (611) and opposite Mudon Community and Golf City, boasting excellent connectivity to prominent landmarks like Trump International Golf Club and Dubai Autodrome.

Hidden by Jebel Ali Village, this beautiful community is made up of a stretch of colourful buildings, greenery and many culinary spots. As a mixed-use community, Discovery Gardens is also home to multiple commercial towers.
