As we close off the first half of 2024, Dubai’s property market has shown impressive growth across all residential sectors with no signs of slowing down.
This year’s ‘Color Run’ was the second consecutive occasion the annual event has been held and exceeded everyone’s expectations with more than 12,000 people taking part.
This fun event is being publicised as “The happiest 5k on the planet” and not just because of the funds raised for charities everywhere. Individual race runners enjoy the challenge of the run as well as enjoy the satisfaction of raising funds for their chosen charities.
The one-day event started at 7.15 am sharp on the 29th of November 2014, welcoming participants from around the globe, with families and members of the local community being present in large numbers. Starting and ending on the Dubai Autodrome tracks, the 5k race had, as usual, a few strict rules all participants were expected to follow.
The race started and ended on the Dubai Autodrome tracks. Race participants were expected to follow the dress code rule – which is to start off in white and end the race covered in colour!
For security reasons, the 5k race started at staged intervals. A colourful display takes place after every group of people begins their race – a colour throw which is a spectacular sight in itself and for which the event is now gaining a reputation.
The race is comprised of solo runners and teams of 4. The emphasis of the day is racing for fun, so people of all fitness levels joined the event, even mums and dads with strollers!
