Dubai announces the world’s largest ocean restoration and ecotourism project, Dubai Reefs

Dubai Reefs is an artificial reef and a sustainable floating community that would be dedicated to marine research, regeneration and ecotourism. The goal behind this is to work towards greater protection of the marine and coastal environment of Dubai. It will also include residential complexes, retail outlets, eco-lodges, wave farms and ocean farming.

This artificial reef would cover over 200 square metres and this reef will be home to over 1 billion corals and 100 million mangroves.

Al Habtoor Group announces the development of Dubai’s tallest residential tower!

Dubai already holds a record for the world’s tallest tower and Al Habtoor Group plans to beat that with another record breaker - The world’s tallest residential tower. It will be built on Sheikh Zayed Road overlooking the Burj Khalifa and Downtown area.

The tower comprises 1,701 keys, 81 floors and total square footage of 3.5 million! This ultra-luxurious property will also have excellent amenities and is due to be completed in 36 months - which looks like mid-2026!

Emirates Airlines announces three new destinations for premium economy flyers!

If you are a frequent flyer with Emirates or are one for luxury travelling, Emirates has recently added three more destinations to their flying chart which would include the Premium Economy cabin. The three new destinations are Singapore, San Francisco and Houston.

Premium Economy cabins are spacious reclining chairs, with an extended foot-rest, large storage space and a 13.5 inch television which has over 5,000 entertainment channels. They also have six different adjustable headrests, a large side table, different charging ports and flyers will have a separate check-in station at Dubai International Airport.

Dubai’s new one-mission work visa - How does it work?

In case you missed it, Dubai has announced a temporary work visa for foreign business travellers to come into the city and work. This visa is applicable for 90-days and gives foreign travellers the ease to come in and out of the city for the duration of one-mission or one project course.
