Motor city sales specialist, Steven Mcdowell and Motor City lettings specialist, David Takkos-Broider, talk about the recent trends in the community they work in day in and day out.
What makes Motor City a perfect family and leisure destination?
Steven McDowell, Property Consultant at Allsopp & Allsopp says “Motor City is a community based around family living but also caters to singles and people of all ages - it’s an area that truly caters to everyone. The neighbourhood has an array of local amenities and is home to Dubai’s largest Spinneys supermarket in the Foxhill area. You can also find another smaller Spinneys store a short drive from the gym near Green Community Motor City and a newly opened, small shopping center with pharmacies and a Waitrose supermarket just off of Hessa street. As well as this, a carrefour supermarket can be found in First Avenue Mall alongside Costa Coffee, Starbucks and fast food outlets such as Burger Fuel. An Ace Hardware store can also be found in First Avenue Mall for all your DIY needs, a very handy store to have on your doorstep when you first move in.”
David Takkos-Brioder, Lettings Consultant at Allsopp & Allsopp says “Motor City is a very sociable area and provides friends and families lots of choice when it comes to coffee and lunch spots in the area. Crumbs Elysee is a strong favourite amongst residents and Friends Avenue café in the Ribbon Mall which is great for an afternoon coffee and a healthy bite to eat.
The Dubai Autodrome is a highlight of the community. Residents and tourists alike can experience the exhilaration of motor sport. You can hire supercars such as a Ferrari and Mclaren, race karts, hold corporate events or even keep fit! The Autodrome has an indoor and outdoor Kartdrome which you can check availability online and arrive and drive! No booking required. Fitness enthusiasts can run, walk, rollerblade or cycle around the floodlit circuit on certain nights of the week.”
